So it has been a month since I have blogged. A very busy month with lots of highs and lows. I swear I am going to write a book for women that want to start a business like mine.
After sending a dozen or so handmade books with pictures of my products to various reps and many nos, (some polite and encouraging, others not) an email went to Danielle's junk mail. (Danielle and I buy fabric together and even though our businesses are seperate they compliment each other: http://www.mylovebugblankets.com/) In the middle of all the reps on the 8th floor of the Dallas World Trade center there is a shared showroom called KidsWorld Studio. So after some researching Danielle and I went to Dallas Tuesday to check it out. It is WONDERFUL. It is a permanent spot where buyers come to you and a rep helps take orders for you. I believe it is the next step for my business. So Dallas friends, clean out a spare room for me for when I am in Dallas. Adrienne, Steph, I feel many road trips coming on. Linda, prepare yourself for lots of sewing. Watch out Dallas, here I come! (that is me in the picture)
